Dodgers Top Prospect Diego Cartaya Signs With Bad Bunny’s Agency

We all know and love the up-and-coming young star that is Diego Cartaya. It’s crazy to think that he was only 16 years old when your Los Angeles Dodgers signed him after he was dominating the competition in Venezuela. He is now 21 and even though he hasn’t made the main roster just yet, he’s already started another great campaign in the minor league as he has five hits in his five games so far.

However, Cartaya is already preparing for the major league in ways beyond just his on-field performances. He knows everything that comes with this career and with him being labeled for some time as the Dodgers’ top prospect, it’s important that he chooses the right people to represent him and his brand.

Well look no further than arguably the most popular artist in the world right now… Bad Bunny. Everybody knows him for his hit songs, bigger-than-Earth personality, and most recently, going public about his relationship with Kendall Jenner.

But Bad Bunny has been making noise in the sports world as well. He has signed some of the top young stars in the MLB and has most recently added Cartaya to his list.

“Bad Bunny is shaking things up a bit in the agent world. He and certified agent William Arroyo working for Rimas have signed Santiago Espinal, Ronny Mauricio, Dodgers catching prospect Diego Cartaya, Giants SS prospect Marco Luciano and other young players. Fernando Tatis Jr. will use Rimas for marketing but is sticking with Dan Lozano for baseball.”

I personally think that is great for both sides. Bad Bunny has a net worth of around $40 million right now but he is also packing in the most streams he’s ever gotten so that number is bound to shoot up this year.

With Cartaya being slated as LA’s next star when he gets called up and considering the massive market that he’s going to play in, this partnership will allow many opportunities to open up for him. They could be on the field, music collaborations, or even something as simple as merchandise between the two. Either way, these are bound to be two of the biggest celebrities in a couple of years.

Oh yeah, it’s worth mentioning that Cartaya is a huge fan of his music as well. It’s a match made in heaven.
