Dodgers Unveil Slogan For 2015 Season, “We Love LA”
With Spring Training three weeks away and the 2015 regular season looming, on and off-the-field preparations are in full swing. Some of the latest buzz surrounds the top prospects heading into 2015, which the Los Angeles Dodgers are represented in.
On the eve of the FanFest at Dodger Stadium, the team unveiled it’s new slogan for this year, “We Love LA” accompanied by the following logo:
Last season, the slogan was “Live. Breathe. Blue.” and in 2013, which was the Guggenheim group’s first full year as owners, they went “A Whole New Blue” to further signify a shift from the Frank McCourt ownership days.
Of the new marketing campaign, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Lon Rosen believes it fits well considering the longstanding history between the Dodgers and city of Los Angeles:
Since 1958, the fans of Southern California have had a love affair with the Dodgers, our broadcasters and Dodger Stadium, and the feeling has been mutual,” said Dodgers’ Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Lon Rosen. “What better way to express our admiration to our fans for their overwhelming support than with this year’s slogan, `We Love LA’”
The Dodgers official website reflects the new “We Love LA” campaign, and it will also be displayed across FanFest on Saturday, with billboards, print and television ads to follow.
