Dodgers: Vin Scully’s Opening Day Message to the Fans

The Dodgers are ready to go in Colorado as they take on the Rockies on Opening Day. And even though he has been out of the booth for several years, no Opening Day is complete without some sort of Vin Scully appearance.

The legendary Dodgers broadcaster took to social media ahead of Thursday’s game to send a message to fans. Vin briefly talked about the excitement of starting the season and how baseball brings all fans together.

The Dodgers have announced their official 26-man roster to start the 2021 season. While there aren’t really any surprises, the biggest pieces missing are Joe Kelly and Brusdar Graterol in the bullpen. The 2 relievers are working their way back to full strength after late starts in Spring Training. 

Just ahead of Opening Day, MLB released the numbers on top jersey sales across the league. There were 3 Dodgers players listed in the top 5, with Mookie Betts coming in at number 1. Cody Bellinger came in 2nd and Clayton Kershaw had the 5th most popular jersey sales.
