Dodgers vs Diamondbacks: Latest Betting Odds, Predictions and Picks for September 12

After taking two of three in San Diego and clinching but not really clinching a postseason berth, the Dodgers start a three-game series in Arizona tonight with the chance to re-clinch their postseason spot and, as early as Tuesday, clinch the NL West for the ninth time in the last ten years.

Game one of the series will see Dodgers All-Star Tyler Anderson take the mound against DBacks rookie right-hander Ryne Nelson, who will be making his second career start.

Anderson has faced Arizona twice this season, going 2-0 and allowing a total of two runs in 13 innings pitched. Anderson is coming off a win against the Giants in which he went seven innings and allowed three runs on two Giants homers.

Nelson threw seven shutout innings against the Padres last Monday in his major-league debut, but he had a 5.43 ERA in 26 Triple-A starts this season, so who knows what to expect.
