Dodgers vs Diamondbacks: Lineups, Pregame Matchups, and More for September 19
The Dodgers begin their fifth and final series against the Diamondbacks holding an 11-3 series record in 2022. In their last matchup, the Diamondbacks cooled off the Dodgers in a 5-3 victory on September 14 after having lost the previous 10 matchups in a row.
The Dodgers currently hold a five game lead over the Astros for the MLB lead with 101 wins and look to keep their strong push to the postseason in full motion.
Starting on the mound tonight will be Clayton Kershaw, who looks to make his 19th start on the season with a current 8-3 record and 2.44 ERA. Kershaw’s last match against the Diamondbacks resulted in a 4-0 victory going 7.0 innings and allowing two hits with five strikeouts.
The Diamondbacks will be sending Merrill Kelly to the mound who also appeared in the last game against the Dodgers in Kershaw’s shutout victory. Kelly gave up five hits, including three earned runs with two home runs and eight strikeouts.

The Dodgers lineup indicates the team will keep their foot on the gas as the lineup brings back Will Smith, Joey Gallo, Gavin Lux sliding Justin Turner, Trayce Thompson and Austin Barnes to the bench.

The Dodgers will play tonight on SNLA with the first pitch scheduled for 7:10 PM as the Dodgers look for win 102. Tomorrow night in the second matchup of the series Dodgers will send Michael Grove to the mound going up against Zach Davies.
