Dodgers vs Giants: Latest Betting Odds, Predictions and Picks for September 6

The Dodgers lost a bad one to the Giants on Monday night, allowing five home runs — including four by starting pitcher Andrew Heaney — en route to a 7-4 defeat. Los Angeles will look to bounce back from that loss tonight, with the Giants’ mathematical chances in the division hanging in the balance.

Tyler Anderson will take the mound for the Dodgers, coming off a tough-luck loss in New York in which he threw seven innings and allowed just two runs. Anderson is 0-2 with two no-decisions in his last four starts despite having a 2.49 ERA in 25.1 innings. Overall, Anderson is 13-3 with a 2.68 ERA and has become a starter the Dodgers can count on for a quality outing every time he takes the mound.

Anderson is 1-0 against the Giants this year, earning a no-decision when he deserved a win (no earned runs in six innings on July 22) and then getting a win when he probably deserved a loss (five earned runs in five innings on August 2).

The Giants have not named a starting pitcher yet, likely meaning a bullpen game from them. The Giants are 2-2 in bullpen games this season, with John Brebbia starting three of the four games.
