Dodgers vs Giants: Latest Betting Odds, Predictions and Picks for September 7

The Dodgers and Giants have split the first two games of Homerpalooza, with twelve home runs between the two teams so far in the series. With the heat wave in Los Angeles and a day game today, the ball figures to keep flying.

Clayton Kershaw takes the hill for the Dodgers, his 10th day game in 17 starts this year. It’s his second start since returning from the injured list, having thrown five innings in New York last week. After walking three and allowing a run in the first inning on Thursday, Kershaw settled down and retired the last 13 batters he faced. He looks to build on that today against the Giants.

San Francisco will counter with Alex Cobb, who is 5-6 with a 3.58 ERA this year. He has been outstanding in his last two starts, throwing a combined 12 shutout innings against the Twins and Phillies. Cobb is 0-1 in two starts against the Dodgers this year, allowing seven earned runs in 12 innings.
