Dodgers vs Rockies: Betting Odds Predictions, and Picks for July 30th
The Dodgers look to win their third game in-a-row against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field today. After a dominate 13-0 win on Thursday, Friday night’s game got a little close for comfort after closer Craig Kimbrel struggled to put the Rockies away in a narrow 5-4 win. The Dodgers are hoping the third game of the four-game series resembles the first.
Clayton Kershaw gets the start for LA, with Colorado countering with a lefty of their own in Kyle Freeland.
Latest Betting Odds
In an all-too familiar spread, the Dodgers are listed on FanDuel at -1.5. Meaning, they would need to win by two or more runs to cover the spread. Colorado is +125 to cover the 1.5 run spread and are one of the biggest underdogs on the day to win outright (+194).
The over-under is set at eleven runs, which isn’t too big of a surprise considering the Dodgers potent lineup and that the game is at hitter-friendly Coors Field. For context, a few of the over-under lines for the Dodgers-Giants games last weekend were 7.5 runs. The over (-118) is slightly more favored than the under (-104).
Dodgers Player Props
Mookie Betts (+280), Will Smith (+300), and the Rockies Kris Bryant (+300) are the three favorites to hit a home run in the game, but for the Trayce Thompson fans out there, parlaying Trayce Thompson hitting a home run with the Dodgers winning outright is listed at +370.
Thompson hit a two-run shot last night off of Rockies Chad Kuhl.
Clayton Kershaw throwing six or more strikeouts in the game is plus money (+164), but for the courageous gambler, nine or more is listed at +1400.
First pitch is set for 5:10PM PT.
