Dodgers vs Rockies: Lineups, Pregame Matchups, and More for October 2

Dodgers set another franchise record picking up their 110th win of the season in interesting fashion last night. Today, LA will look to set another franchise record in wins and pick up their 111th win of 2022.

The Dodgers will take on the Colorado Rockies once again in their third matchup of a six-game series to end the regular season.

Southpaw and one-time All-Star Tyler Anderson will be on the hill for LA as he will make his last appearance in the regular year before the real games start. Anderson will look to capture his 16th win of the year and after a year in which he was supposed to come out the bullpen, having 15 wins alone is a surprise to many fans. No. 31 currently has a 2.54 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and total of 128 strikeouts in the year.

Colorado will send out righty German Marquez who is 8-13 with a 5.12 ERA and 1.39 WHIP.

No Mookie Betts today, meaning Joey Gallo will play right field and bat six. The speedy Trea Turner will lead things off for the Boys in Blue today. Freddie Freeman will follow and Will Smith takes things over at the catcher spot and three-hole. Max Muncy will play third base and bat in the clean-up hole. Gavin Lux will play second and bat seven, while Trayce Thompson and Cody Bellinger will be in the outfield and bat eight and ninth.

Los Angeles already clinched the division, home field throughout the playoffs, and set a new franchise record in wins, so what’s next?

Get and stay healthy, clean things up on the defensive side, and continue to win and dominate.

First pitch is set at 1:10 PM PT with the game being televised on SportsNet LA and radio broadcast on AM570.
