This move is a no-brainer for the Dodgers, as the team is coming off a 2024 season in which Roberts led them to their second World Series title in five seasons.

Roberts has established himself as one of the premier managers in MLB, and silenced the doubters with a 2024 World Series title.

Despite all the injuries and turmoil on a team with high expectations, Roberts navigated them through the regular season and postseason, and earned the Dodgers the parade they yearned for.

The Dodgers have done nothing but win under Roberts. Here’s a little of Roberts’ updated resume with L.A. after the 2024 season:

  • 9-for-9 in postseason appearances
  • 8 National League West titles
  • 4 World Series appearances
  • 2 World Series title
  • .627 regular season winning percentage
  • 56 postseason wins (6th most all-time)

Roberts is signed through the 2025 season. It’s safe to say his extension will take him well into the future once it’s finalized this offseason.
