Dodgers: Watch Shoeless Joc Pederson Stop By to Visit Old Friends

The Dodgers welcomed the Giants into town for the first time this year on Tuesday night. With San Francisco carrying the hottest offense in baseball this season so far, Julio Urias wasa set up to have his work cut out for him.

But Tuesday also offered a chance for the Dodgers to visit with an old friend. Joc Pederson left Los Angeles following the 2020 season and has bounced around to a few teams. He initially signed a free-agent deal with the Cubs before being dealt to the Braves in 2021. He signed a deal with the Giants this past offseason.

Before the game, Joc strolled over to chat with his former Dodgers teammates. He greeted a few different guys there with a hug and a high-five. And for some reason, he did it without wearing any shoes. That’s Joc for you.

Even if he’s with the Giants now, Dodgers fans will always have a soft spot for Joc. He spent a very long time in Los Angeles, hitting some big homeruns and coming through during the postseason. He arguably would’ve been the 2017 World Series MVP if the Astros didn’t cheat.

So even though he is a Giant, there will still be a lot of love. But maybe not any cheers when he takes the field on Wednesday night.
