Dodgers: Zoom Party Draws 3 Former MVPs And Nearly 12,000 Viewers

The Dodgers hosted their second Zoom call on Monday evening and had quite a successful turnout. In fact, the team is reporting that there were over 12,000 unique logins for the event. This is the second event the team has held, and it was far more organized than the first Zoom party.

While the Dodgers first Zoom call featured a mix of celebrities and players, this week was more player focused. The call had three MVP award winners on it as well, with Cody Bellinger, Clayton Kershaw, and Steve Garvey all tuning in.

Former Dodgers Andre Ethier, Steve Garvey, Adrián González, and Orel Hershiser all participated in the call. Current Dodgers Cody Bellinger, Kiké Hernández, Kenley Jansen, Clayton Kershaw, Ross Stripling, and Justin Turner were also involved. The call lasted for 45-minutes and featured a singing of ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ during a sort of seventh innings stretch.

Cody Bellinger was certainly one of the highlights of the call, hilariously answering submitted fan questions and calling out Kenley Jansen for his poor internet connection. The call was hosted by Joe Davis and Alanna Rizzo, who once again handled the call very well given the circumstances.

The Dodgers also announced plans for a third Zoom Party to be held on Monday, May 11 at 6:00 p.m. PT. Participants and registration information will be announced at a later date, likely via the Dodgers social media platforms.
