Dodgers Fan Cave Battles Episode 6: From Vintage Legends to a Clayton Kershaw Love Story
In Episode 6 of Dodgers Fan Cave Battles, host JayRob returned to spotlight another round of elite fans who live and breathe Dodger Blue — not just through gear, but through stories, memories, and spaces that represent decades of devotion.
We kicked things off in Utah, where Scott Schroeder shared a fan cave built with his daughter that spans generations. Since 1972, Scott has followed the Dodgers faithfully — and after moving to Utah in 2014, he and his daughter began chasing autographs across spring training, road trips, and the postseason.
The result? A museum-worthy collection featuring 800 signed baseballs, 150 signed jerseys, and an All-Star bat signed by Clayton Kershaw and Yasmani Grandal. But the real highlight is the bond — like the time Kershaw circled back after signing for 20 fans just to make sure Scott’s daughter got her signature. Legendary.
Next, Cassio Saverino from Peoria, Arizona brought the history. A fan since 1963, Cassio’s collection is a Dodgers time capsule. From original yearbooks dating back to 1955 to a massive Sandy Koufax photo, Lasorda autograph, and even a vinyl record of Koufax’s perfect game, Cassio’s cave blends memorabilia with music and storytelling. When he met Lasorda in person and asked who he’d pitch in Game 7 — Kershaw or Koufax — Tommy didn’t hesitate: Koufax. Classic.
Then came Enrique Jimenez, repping from North Muskegon, Michigan — and bringing home the W. Born in California, Enrique carried his Dodgers pride across state lines and built a fan cave in his basement with the help of his wife, who he converted into a true believer. Their cave features game-used pieces, signed photos, and a standout Kershaw shadow box jersey, signed in person. The setup is clean, emotional, and rooted in family — and it earned Enrique the Episode 6 crown.
Rounding out the episode was Cesar Galvez from Conroe, Texas, who brought big-time blue crew energy. A former season ticket holder, Cesar’s cave is stacked with bobbleheads from games he attended in person, a Vin Scully signed ball gifted by his mom, and takeovers from Houston to Arlington that reflect the “Hasta LA Muerte” spirit of true Dodger loyalty. He’s even framed his own Russell brand Dodgers jersey, now a rare piece of uniform history.
But in the end, only one could win.
This week’s Fan Cave Battle Champion? Enrique Jimenez.
His basement fan cave, his story with his wife, and that beautiful Kershaw piece brought the full package — heart, history, and Dodger love that runs deep.
