Get to Know Dodgers Outfielder Mookie Betts Over a Cup of Coffee

The Dodgers have continued to find ways to keep their players connected to fans during these unprecedented times. Even if fans can’t be out at the games supporting their favorite players, the team is going to keep bringing the players to you.

One way that the Dodgers have done that is with a sit-down series with individual players. Guys like Edwin Rios and Brusdar Graterol have already sat down to have a virtual cup of coffee with fans and answer some questions about themselves.

This week, the Dodgers had a sit-down with potential MVP outfielder Mookie Betts. Listen in as he discusses his favorite foods, favorite music, and teammates that he would take with him into a haunted house. It”s a real treat.

I don’t know about you, but I would also take Edwin Rios into a haunted house with me if I had to choose a Dodgers players. I also very much respect his choice of strawberry shortcake for food that he would eat forever. Who doesn’t love a good dessert?

The Dodgers acquired Mookie Betts from the Red Sox back in February of this year. Betts would go on to sign a massive 12-year extension that will likely keep him in Los Angeles for life. In his first year, Betts has put up a team-leading 2.9 WAR and is in the conversation for NL MVP. Corey Seager comes in at second on the team in WAR with just a 2.2 mark.
