Injury Update: Puig Placed on DL, Latest on Van Slyke and Anderson
The Los Angeles Dodgers have been plagued with injuries this season and their latest victim has been pitcher Alex Wood and Yasiel Puig. Puig was scratched from the line up on Wednesday due to a sore left hamstring, and was left out of the starting lineup on Friday vs. the Atlanta Braves.
Puig has had some hamstring issues in the past, and the Dodgers are being cautious. Puig was placed on the 15-day DL list before Monday night’s game vs. the Braves.
Today, #Dodgers placed OF Yasiel Puig on the 15-day DL with a strained left hamstring and reinstated IF/OF Scott Van Slyke from the DL.

Puig is hitting .237 with five home runs and 20 RBI in 53 games this season.
