Jimmy Rollins Answers Questions From Fans On Twitter
Nearly three weeks after the Los Angeles Dodgers officially acquired Jimmy Rollins in a trade with the Philadelphia Phillies, the shortstop was formally introduced at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday.
Rollins joins the Dodgers after 18 years with the Phillies organization, including 15 seasons in the Majors. He leaves the organization as the career leader in hits (2,306) and doubles (479), second in stolen bases (453) and games played (2,090) and third in runs scored (1,325).
Although the 36 year old only has one year remaining on his current deal, Rollins is focused on bringing a veteran leadership and winning the second World Series of his career.
Shortly after Rollins’ press conference, he jumped on the Dodgers’ Twitter account to answer questions from fans. Included below are the answers he provided to the inquiring minds:
