Key Moments From Game 3 of The NLDS
The Dodgers squared off against the Nationals for game 3 of the NLDS on Monday. Unfortunately, they were not able to perform offensively or defensively enough to get the win. Here are some of the key moments from the game.
The Dodgers got on the board first with an RBI double by Corey Seager that scored Justin Turner!

The Nationals would answer in a big way by putting up 4 in the 3rd, which included a 2-run home run off the bat of Anthony Rendon.

The big move came in the bottom of the 5th when Roberts decided to take Andre Ethier out of the on-deck circle and put in Carlos Ruiz instead. One of the big reasons Chooch was brought to the Dodgers was for his bat against left-handed pitching, and his 2-run shot solidified that trade!

Things were looking up but the Dodger offense could not muster up another run. Kenley Jansen would come in for the top of the 9th and, on the first pitch, Jayson Werth would homer.
Jayson Werth just annihilated a baseball. 5-3, Nats.

Unfortunately, Jansen’s struggles continued with Ryan Zimmerman hitting a 2-run double to extend the lead to 7-3. He would be replaced by Ross Stripling, who would also give up a run on a sac-fly.
