Kiké Hernandez Reveals He Once Pooped His Pants During Dodgers Game

One of the most animated members of the Los Angeles Dodgers is utility man Kiké Hernández.

Hernández is far more than the ‘class clown’ label he is rightfully given for his clubhouse antics, postgame interview profanity, and practical jokes played, given his .278 October batting average and being a pillar in the last two Dodgers World Series wins.

Hernández is known for leaving everything he has on the field, but he recently revealed the extent to which he did on one fateful evening.

While being interviewed on comedian Kevin Hart’s Cold As Balls podcast, Hernández spoke on a lesser-known moment in his illustrious postseason resume.

“I had a root canal, they didn’t put a crown over it, and turns out it cracked and got an infection,” Hernández said. “I reached out to my dentist, and he’s like, ‘I can give you some antibiotics, it’s gonna get rid of it quick, but the side effect gives you diarrhea.’

“At this point I’m in the game as a designated hitter, I’m in the dugout, I’m ready to hit, and Dustin May gets the strikeout and I go ‘f— yeah!’ and when I did that, I thought I farted.”

In hopes of sparing the reader the details, Hernández relayed that what he felt was not, in fact, a fart.

“I struck out in three pitches, and let me tell you, I have never been happier to strike out in my entire life.”

It’s unclear which postseason run Hernández was discussing on the podcast, but hopefully, he is more prepared come October and can solely focus on his elite postseason numbers.

This past championship run, Hernández transformed from a .229 regular season hitter to having a .294/.357/.451 slashline with an OPS of .808. He added six RBIs and a pair of home runs on the way to an eighth Commissioner’s Trophy for L.A.
