On the same day that Dave Roberts was announced as Grand Marshal of the Kingdom Day Parade on Martin Luther King Day, Tuesday was officially designated as “Justin Turner Day.” This, done largely in part as a thank you for all the work JT has done for his work in Los Angeles. This comes at the beginning of the 16th annual “Dodgers Love LA Community Tour” week.

Significance
Justin Turner is an LA native, grew up an Dodger and Laker fan, and stands as one of the most popular athletes in LA. He is most certainly a Dodger favorite. The reason JT is a fan favorite is clearly more than his stellar on the field contributions. He’s a pillar of the community, and represent Los Angeles to the highest degree. He’s a Dodger that all Dodger fans can be proud of.
