Landon Knack With Dodgers in Miami Hinting at Incoming Roster Move

Right-handed pitcher Landon Knack is with the Los Angeles Dodgers in Miami, hinting at a potential roster move incoming.

The Dodgers have a scheduled bullpen game on Wednesday, and it appears Knack could be recalled to pitch a bulk of the innings.

In Knack’s most recent outing with the Dodgers on April 15, he went 4.1 innings, allowing two earned runs and two walks with two strikeouts. He has a 7.27 ERA across three big league appearances in 2025.

In Triple-A, Knack is seeing more success with a 3.98 mark over 20.1 innings pitched. He has 19 strikeouts to nine walks with nine earned runs in the process.

Last season, Knack was a key contributor for Los Angeles down the stretch as he started five games in September, throwing 25 strikeouts to just six walks. Overall, the 2014 season featured a 3.65 ERA over 15 appearances.

The postseason was a different story for Knack, but he pitched key innings in a time when the lack of depth was at critical levels for the team.

Knack made three appearances in relief, including four major innings in Game 4 of the World Series, allowing six runs.

The 27-year-old started his 2025 campaign in the Tokyo Dome as part of the MLB Japan Series, where he threw three strikeouts in two innings and allowed one hit in his 2025 debut. His next two outings — both starts — were less than ideal, but Knack has been the man his team has been turning to amid the slew of pitching injuries this year.

The Dodgers made a roster move on Tuesday, bringing up right-handed pitcher J.P. Feyereisen and designated right-handed pitcher Yoendrys Gomez for assignment.
