Los Angeles Dodgers Offering Discounted Spring Training Tickets

Camelback Ranch

With pitchers and catchers set to report Feb. 19, and position players reporting Feb. 25, Spring Training and the 2015 season are rapidly approaching.

The Dodgers’ first Spring Training game is scheduled for March 4 against the co-tenant Chicago White Sox and on Monday, the team announced discounted tickets are available for a limited time. Beginning at 9 a.m. PST and ending Jan. 11, fans can use the code TEAM to receive a $5 discount off all tickets.

Whereas the Dodgers’ Spring Training schedule was compressed last season due to their ringing in the 2014 season in Australia, they return to a more traditional schedule this year. While they won’t face the challenge of completing their Spring Training schedule well ahead of other teams, the Dodgers will participate in the Big League Weekend at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Heading into Spring Training, World Series expectations remain for the back-to-back NL West division champions, but camp will be filled with a healthy share of new faces. Of particular importance are Howie Kendrick and Jimmy Rollins, who will need to work on developing chemistry as the new middle infielders and Joc Pederson, who can take hold of the center field duties.

Pederson is coming off a record-setting year as he became the first PCL player in 80 years to hit 30 home runs and steal 30 bases. Also joining the Dodgers for Spring Training will be Corey Seager, in what will be his first experience at a Major-League camp.

The Dodgers final game at Camelback Ranch is March 31 against the White Sox with their last exhibition game being played April 4 at Dodger Stadium against the the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
