Although there was an hour rain delay, the players looked to be in good spirits and relaxed as the contest eventually got underway. Yasiel Puig had a bit of an embarrassing moment as he failed to hit one home run in the first round and was quickly eliminated.

Puig however wasn’t fazed by his showing and continued to mingle with his NL teammates and he later added he was at the Derby to have fun.

Dee Gordon was photographed enjoying himself with his family and the reigning NL MVP, Andrew McCutchen. Gordon acknowledged the honor he felt in being named an the All-Star and some of the expressions caught on his face reflected that sentiment.

Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw were spotted sitting together and conversing for a portion of the Derby. The Dodger aces also posed for pictures with fans and fellow All-Stars.
