Recap: Brandon McCarthy and Offense Struggle in 3-1 Loss Against the Rays
The Dodgers are playing a two game series against the Rays at home for the first time since 2013. They took the first game 3-2 thanks to a towering home run by Yasmani Grandal! Today they looked to get the sweep with Brandon McCarthy, who is coming off of a fantastic start in St. Louis, getting the start.

The Dodgers got on the board early thanks to some bad defense on the Rays end, specifically a misplayed single by AJ Ellis and a bad throw to second which would score Joc from third!

After that the game was fairly quiet, except for a few exciting moments such as AJ Ellis almost tying the game with a swing of the bat, Ray’s Logan Morrison making a catch in the seats, and Ross Stripling pitching fantistically!
