Sporting News Names Corey Seager NL Rookie of the Year
The hype around Corey Seager’s rookie season was unbelievable. Luckily, the 22 year-old not only lived up to the hype, he surpassed it!
On Monday, Sporting News named Corey Seager as their pick for National League Rookie of the Year, as voted on by his fellow players.

During the 2016 regular season, Corey Seager hit .308 with 26 home runs and 72 RBIs. His numbers were the team’s best in the average, hits, and doubles categories, among others!
