Dodgers Video: 2nd Annual All-Access Event At Dodger Stadium

In conjunction with the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation recently hosted the second annual Dodgers All-Access Event at Dodger Stadium. The night gave fans an opportunity to go behind the scenes and walk the same steps former players have traversed.

On hand for the special event that included dinner served on the Dodger Stadium infield were former Dodgers Ron Cey, Mickey Hatcher and Orel Hershiser, among others. Additionally, Andre Ethier, Howie Kendrick and Joc Pederson were also in attendance on what was an off day for the club.

Included in the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity was the chance to get coached by Yeager while swinging away in the Dodgers’ batting cage and throwing from a bullpen mound.

Complimentary tours were provided and stops included the press box, where renowned Dodger Stadium organist Nancy Bea Hefley was playing, and broadcaster Kevin Kennedy was ready to take a backseat to anyone willing to try their hand at doing play-by-playing on historic Dodger moments.

Vin Scully’s image graced the admittance passes provided to the guests, and he so humbly apologized for that being the case, even giving the patrons permission to draw a mustache on it, as he joked to have done.
