Katherine Heigl Helps Grounds Crew After NLDS Game 2 (PHOTO)

[new_royalslider id=”336″] With the Los Angeles Dodgers needing a win in Game 2 of the National League Division Series to avoid finding themselves in a big series hole, it was another electric atmosphere at the sold out Chavez Ravine Saturday night.

Among those in attendance were athletes and celebrities including, Magic Johnson, Larry King Chris Paul, Eric Stonestreet, and others. They saw Zack Greinke throw seven shutout innings only to have J.P. Howell give up a game-tying home run in the eighth inning.

Matt Kemp then saved the Los Angeles Dodgers with his solo home run in the bottom of the eighth that proved to be the difference. The win tied the best-of-five series at one game apiece with the teams now headed to St. Louis for Games 3 and 4.

Following the Dodgers’ win, Hollywood actress Katherine Heigl lent a hand to the grounds crew. Photo courtesy Juan Ocampo of the Dodgers’ official photo blog:
