The official Dodgers twitter account tweeted a video of this special moment where Brian Dozer, acquired at the trade deadline, meets Dave Roberts and the coaching crew. He walked into the dugout in the 7th inning after a flight to LA and a speedy commute to Chavez Ravine. Welcome, Brian!

If you don’t know yet, DodgersNation hosts one of the best Dodger podcasts out there. Blue Heaven Podcast, hosted by FRG and Kevin, had the privilege of Dodger broadcaster, Joe Davis, join them. Davis appreciated the opportunity to join them publicly through twitter. You can listen to the podcast here.

As always, Kike Hernandez never ceases to make Dodger fans everywhere enjoy a good laugh through his active twitter activity. On July 21st, during pre-game batting practice at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Kike gave us his best Silver Fox (A.K.A. Chase Utley) impression. I must say, it was spot on.

Although number 2 on this is clearly staged it still achieves greatness. During the all-star break, Justin Turner and Alex Wood enjoyed a little R & R boating together. They celebrate together after Alex Wood receives a notification that Manny Machado has officially been traded to the Dodgers. Anyone would react with that much enthusiasm when receiving a superstar like Machado.

After Braves broadcaster, Joe Simpson, went on a tirade against the Dodger players for apparently being “unprofessional” during batting practice in their lax attire, Kike Hernandez responded beautifully. He posted a picture of a Dodger blue speedo with his name sprawled across the backside with the caption “tomorrow’s BP attire.” This is the ultimate “slap in the face” come back to a number of foolish comments made against the Dodger organization.
