Trade Deadline Thoughts and Reactions
The Dodgers arguably made the biggest splash of every team in Major League Baseball on trade deadline day.
For the most part, fans, reporters and executives from around the league believe that they received the most bang (talent) for their buck (prospects).
This first tweet put a smile on just about everyone’s face as Yu Darvish tweeted a picture of himself in front of his locker in Arlington captioned, “10min!!”, and ten minutes later he had been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

After the news broke that the Dodgers had traded three prospects, including second baseman Willie Calhoun, Calhoun went to twitter to thank the Dodgers organization for taking a chance on him as he pursues his dream of becoming a Major League baseball player.

Dodgers broadcaster Joe Davis joined Davis joked that he was really enjoying Los Angeles as the Dodgers had traded another “Davis” to the Rangers.

Reporters Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports and Andy McCullough of the LA Times completely covered the reactions that the greater population of people involved in the professional baseball world had… The Dodgers did well. They somehow managed to improve their juggernaut of a team.
