Tweets Of The Night: Dodgers Drop Finale To Diamondbacks 4-1
After an 11-inning game last night, the Dodgers and Diamondbacks faced each other one last time at Dodger Stadium as the Dodgers looked to complete the three-game sweep.
For the Dodgers, Hyun-Jin Ryu was looking for his 14th win of the season and after suffering back tightness, he made his first start in 11 days. The Diamondbacks countered with Patrick Corbin and he’s been successful against the Dodgers in the past with a 1-0 record and 3.27 ERA.
Don Mattingly rested Juan Uribe, Andre Ethier, Mark Ellis, and Carl Crawford against the tough lefty as last night’s hero Scott Van Slyke and Michael Young among others will start in their place.
Here are the tweets of the night:

If Eaton scores here, and Garcia never records an out in the majors, Garcia’s career ERA will be infinity. #98
— J.P. Hoornstra (@jphoornstra) September 12, 2013
Kind of a weird introduction to the majors for Garcia, who throws four straight balls and gets pulled
— Mark Saxon (@markasaxon) September 12, 2013
Onelki Garcia, No. 98, to the mound to make his Major League-debut. Garcia is first No. 98 in #Dodgers history.
