Tweets Of The Night: Dodgers Lose 3-2, Have Lost 3 Of 4
Things have been going so well for the Dodgers that when they lose games, people start to worry that they’ve peaked too early or just got hot for a period of time.
So, the anxiety at Dodger Stadium was likely last night after they’d lost two games to the Red Sox and the Chicago Cubs strolled into Dodger Stadium against Zack Greinke.
Greinke was masterful in 8.2 innings while Hanley Ramirez and Yasiel Puig hit solo home runs helping the Dodgers win 6-2. Tonight, Clayton Kershaw is on the mound as he looks to further solidify his Cy Young candidacy as he looks towards a potential MVP award as well.
Cubs starter Travis Wood is on the mound and was on a three-game losing streak and the Dodgers beat him earlier this month at Wrigley Field. With Kershaw on the mound, the Dodgers had another golden opportunity to keep their momentum going as the calendar approaches September.
Let’s get to the tweets of the night.
