Tweets Of The Night: Dodgers Lose Finale At Coors Field 7-5
The Dodgers and Rockies will face off tonight in the series finale and Edison Volquez, the newly acquired pitcher from the San Diego Padres will make his debut. Volquez will face off against Jorge De La Rosa, the left hander from Mexico who is tied for the most wins in the National League with 15.
The Dodgers hold a 13 game advantage over the Diamondbacks in the NL West and Don Mattingly will try his players some rest before the playoffs. Tonight’s game will not feature Yasiel Puig, who is still nursing a knew injury, Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford and Andre Ethier will get the night off as well.
Hanley Ramirez is back in the lineup and Michael Young will be at first base batting clean up, once again. The Dodgers have captured the first two games of the series, but this final game in Colorado will be the toughest test for the Dodgers. Hopefully Volquez can reinvent himself with the Dodgers as we get to the tweets of the night.
