Tweets Of The Night: Matt Kemp Goes 4-4 In Return, Magic Number 2
The Dodgers were the talk of the baseball world for their incredible stretch from June-August and they’re the talk again for the completely opposite reason.
Just like earlier in the season, injuries have been piling up as Matt Kemp, Hanley Ramirez, Andre Ethier and Carl Crawford have all missed time with various injury. Because of this, the offense has suffered as they’ve lost nine of 12, but help was on the way tonight as Kemp and Hanley were back in the lineup.
With Zack Greinke on the mound and the magic number of four staring them in the face, the Dodgers had a chance to cut that number in half and move one step closer to the NL West title.
Let’s get to the tweets of the night.
