With Yasiel Puig taking on George Lopez’s nomination for the ALS ice bucket challenge, more Los Angeles Dodgers have been thrown in the mix.

Tony Gwynn Jr. nominated Dee Gordon and Matt Kemp, among others. Gordon responded by accepting Gwynn’s challenge and had a bucket of ice water dumped on his head, which is seen in the video below.

Unlike Puig, Gordon stopped at one bucket of water and immediately jumped in what appears to be a jacuzzi, with A.J. Ellis.

While the act of being drenched by cold water has taken America by storm, the more important aspect is the donation to the ALS Association. Typically once challenged, a person has 24 hours to complete the task.

In some instances, if the challenge is not completed within 24 hours the nominated person has to donate money to the research that aims to find a cure for Lou Gehrig’s disease. Citizens, celebrities and athletes alike have all participated in the challenge.

Those who wish to donate can do so by visiting the ALS Association’s official website. Gordon posted video of him completing the challenge on his Instagram account:
