Video: Dodgers’ Juan Uribe Shows Off Fielding Skills PreGame

Dodgers third baseman Juan Uribe is starting to make a case for himself as a candidate for the NL Gold Glove at third base. In 98 games, Uribe has seen 211 chances and only committed three errors thus far.

After signing a three-year deal with the Dodgers after winning a World Series, Uribe hasn’t lived up to his contract until his bounce back season this year. With incumbent starting third baseman Luis Cruz seemingly ahead of him on the depth chart, Uribe has been so good that Cruz is gone and he’s been the starter all year.



Uribe got the night off last night and prior to tonight’s game, he was taking ground balls at third. He’s started several crucial double plays and it’s clear that people around the league are starting to notice his fielding skills.
