Video: ESPN Promotes Yasiel Puig In Sunday Night Baseball Ad

Due to their recent 15-game road winning streak and 32-8 stretch in 40 games, the Dodgers have seen an increase in nationally televised games as they’ve already been on ESPN that past two night.

Picked up for the Sunday night game against the Rays, ESPN ran a promotion for the game and featured phenom Yasiel Puig. While he was called the “most electrifying player in baseball”, Baseball America didn’t think he was among the top-3 most exciting in the National League.



While he had some struggles in July, Puig has responded with a strong August as he’s hitting .450, but more importantly, he’s taken eight walks in just six games this month.

The Dodgers have lost just once in August and have built their NL West lead to five games over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Here’s the commercial running to promote the Sunday Night game:
