Video: Gary Sheffield Talks Dodgers And Yasiel Puig At Charity Event

The Dodgers are what everyone around baseball is talking about and even former Dodger Gary Sheffield chimed in on how impressed he is with the team.

Sheffield spent four years with the Dodgers from 1998-2001 and was acquired in the Mike Piazza trade along with Bobby Bonilla and Charles Johnson among others.



In his career in LA, Sheffield clashed with the team over his contract, but was productive during his tenure in blue. Sheffield hit .312 with 129 home runs and 367 RBIs as the Dodgers failed to make it to the playoffs any of those years.

While things didn’t end well for Sheffield in LA, he talked about how the Dodgers are definitely serious contenders and that Yasiel Puig has that “it” factor.

At the Harold Pump Foundation dinner, Sheffield tackled these topics:
