VIDEO: Vin Scully Throws Out First Pitch For The Dodgers Home Opener

This morning may have seemed a little crazy with Matt Kemp replacing Yasiel Puig in the line up after arriving to the stadium late. Although once the opening ceremonies for the Dodgers home opener were under way, the pre-game drama was put to the side at least for now. Vin Scully was selected to throw out the honorary first pitch in today’s exciting matchup against the rival San Francisco Giants.

The voice of Dodger baseball entered the stadium in dramatic fashion sitting on the back of a convertible as he made his rounds to fans around the ballpark before he was taken to the mound. There to catch Scully’s pitch was none other than Dodger legend Sandy Koufax. The stadium was roaring, and fans were more than thrilled to embark on this beautiful and exciting day.

In the appropriate words of the Los Angeles Dodgers beloved broadcaster, it’s time for Dodger baseball!
