On a game that was off and on due to rain delays, Bryce Harper appeared to slip on first base causing his knee to buckle and face the entire other direction before catapulting himself in the air. Harper and the Nationals are extremely fortunate to find out there there is no ligament damage to Harper. Harper suffered a bone bruise and a hyperextended knee.

Although there is no timetable for Harper, there is hope that he will bounce back and play this season. Harper appeared to be in a lot of pain leaving the field. The Nationals have been plagued by injury all year long. Starting with Adam Eaton, and Trea Turner spending quite a lot of time on the DL as well.
