Dave Roberts made a statement on Monday night by starting Chris Taylor over Chase Utley at second base against a right-handed pitcher.

The grand slam came on a hanging 0-2 pitch that Trevor Williams of the Pirates served up on a platter to Chris Taylor as it was begging to be smashed over the wall.

This was the second grand slam of Chris Taylor’s career. He only has four home runs to his name. Quite the ratio.
