The Los Angeles Dodgers went 4-3 during the last week. During the highly anticipated Freeway Series, the Dodgers won three straight games after losing the opening one at Dodger Stadium. After the team swept the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim, the Milwaukee Brewers took two out of three against the Dodgers.
During the second half of the season, the Dodgers find themselves in the middle of a playoff race with the San Francisco Giants. As long as the Dodgers continue to win, the team should remain atop the NL West standings.
Whenever there is a big play, the players in the dugout celebrate with a bubble machine which has allegedly caught the eye of MLB offices. Without much clarification, the Dodgers have continued to throw bubble parties during their recent run.
