When is Clayton Kershaw’s Last Home Game for Dodgers?

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Thursday that future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw is retiring at the conclusion of the 2025 season.

Kershaw’s final home regular season start will be on Friday, Sept. 19. It could potentially be the final time he pitches at Dodger Stadium in his storied career. The game will be against the rival San Francisco Giants.

“Three-time NL Cy Young Award winner, 2014 NL MVP and 11-time All-Star Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers will announce today that he will retire as a player at the end of the 2025 season,” the Dodgers announced in a statement on Thursday. “He will make his final Dodger Stadium regular season start on Friday.”

Clayton Kershaw is holding a press conference at 5:30 p.m. PT to formally announce his retirement. It will be broadcast on Spectrum SportsNet LA.
