Which Dodgers Player Would You Hang Out With For A Day?
We asked you if you could hang out with one current Dodgers player for a day where YOU treat them, who would it be?
I was very impressed with the amount of answers to this question, and the different type of answers we received. It’s no surprise after all, we as fans are lucky. So many Dodgers have vibrant or fantastic personalities. We have an abundance of good choices. It’s not like anybody felt forced to answer the question with Bumgarner and continuing his war against fun. Or Mattingly, to debate over what’s appropriate while playing pool together at a bar.
Dodger fans really have ideas here, and many of you are pretty snarky. Let me start with some of the Dodgers Nation staff answers.
Who We Would Hang Out With (Dodgers Nation Staff)
Clint Evans: “Probably Bellinger. Not probably but it would be Bellinger. He would probably be down to go to Venice Beach and just people watch. I can see he and I sitting at the skate board park just watching skaters drop into the bowl for an hour and not saying much other than “that was cool.”
AJ Gonzalez: “I labored on this one because there’s a few I would kill to hang out with, but ultimately I did go with JT. His personality seems like we’d get along. He’s a Lakers fan, he’s a husband, and we’re the same age. If you follow him and IG it’s pretty clear he’s such a good dude, and probably really easy to get along with. We’d definitely play some basketball. I’d just like to pain the town red (pun absolutely intended) with the guy. Plus–he’s a DODGER through and through.”
Brian Robitaille: “It would probably be Kershaw. I know that’s probably a popular answer, but it’s hard to pass up hangin with one of the best to ever do it. I think I’d just talk baseball. His desire to win. His crazy determination and competitiveness. And his personal career and accolades. Then, I’d probably challenge him to a game of ping pong.”
Eric Morse: “I’d have to say Dave Roberts. He seems like the most chill manager and clubhouse guy around. We’d probably discuss last year’s painful loss in game 7 of the WS. I’d also want the inside scoop on who we are going after this trade season (my money is on Gennett or DeGrom.)”

I would make it a family affair-my kids & grandkids with Clayton, Ellen, Cali & Charlie-a picnic where all the kids could play together & just good times with food & conversation.

Logan Forsythe in an upscale bar because I bet he could really use several drinks these days.

Me and Puig at a Karaoke bar. And we take turns singing songs from Top Gun and Dirty Dancing soundtracks. We close the joint down with the duet of “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling.”

Postscript
I tried to vary the answers–but SO many of you chose Kiké Hernandez and Yasiel Puig. The Yasiel Puig answers were anywhere from go-karts to mini-golf. Kiké answers dominantly referred to the idea that he’d be fun to hang out with regardless of the activity. For the record, he was my second answer and it was for exactly that reason!
It’d be fun to hang out with our Dodgers, and we can all agree that the most ideal activity would be hanging out with them at a World Series parade.
