Yankees Fans Try to Rip Baseball Out of Mookie Betts’ Glove in Shocking Play vs Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers superstar outfielder Mookie Betts made the first out in the first inning of Game 4 in the World Series in the right-field corner. However, it was far from a routine catch.
A Yankee fan did his best to try and rip the ball out of Betts’ glove even after he secured the catch.
Betts was visibly upset about the incident, but luckily, the umpires ruled it out.
The Los Angeles Dodgers came out with a big swing in the first inning thanks to Freddie Freeman. Freeman came out roaring once again and gave the Dodgers a 2-0 lead in the first.

Ben Casparius was then able to get the scoreless first inning, even though the Yankees fans tried to prevent it.

That play was incredible. I have always thought NY’ers were aggressive and/or rude, and that play showed that belief is true
That was not just fan interference, it was a battery, and charges should be filed against him. Nothing justified that fan putting his hands on Mookie Betts, and I am still not sure what the sports announcers thought was so amusing: offensive.
