Dodgers Notes: Ippei Mizuhara’s Lawyer Breaks Silence, Shohei Ohtani Makes Statement, Walker Buehler Hurt

The Los Angeles Dodgers opened a three-game series with the San Diego Padres on Friday night losing 8-7 in 11 innings.

Off the field, there was tons of news surrounding Shohei Ohtani’s former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, who surrendered to federal authorities and appeared in court.



Ohtani made a statement on the matter, as did Mizuhara’s lawyer.

And finally, Walker Buehler was forced to exit his rehab start early after getting hit by a comebacker.
