El Compadre

Why To Love It:
Since 1975, El Compadre Restaurant has been one of LA’s go-to spots for authentic Mexican cuisine and drinks. Their Sunset Boulevard location is located within walking distance of Dodger Stadium and offers some of the best Mexican Food that you’re going to find close to Chavez Ravine. El Compadre is an excellent place to eat and drink before, during, and after Dodgers games.
The authentic style of Mexican food is delicious and made with family recipes that have been handed down over generations. The restaurant staff is always warm and welcoming and the bartenders are always very attentive and courteous. The bar has the look and ambiance of an “old Mexican hacienda” where Margaritas are set ablaze. Here you’ll find really delicious and snackable food options where you can get tasty cheeseburgers, parmesan fries, boneless wings, and pizza. Beer aficionados will appreciate their extensive selection of classic and local brews. Their bar features beer and wine only, so cocktail lovers might want to look elsewhere. There is also tons of outdoor seating available as well with plenty of picnic-style tables just outside. Homebound Brew Haus

Situated inside the iconic Union Station in Downtown LA, Homebound Brew Haus is a Dodgers-friendly sports bar, and restaurant, that offers an extensive variety of beers, cocktails, and wines. Featuring its own brewery in the back, beer connoisseurs will appreciate their house-brewed beers along with some of the finest crafted brews around. If you’re looking to grub, the kitchen cranks out incredible sausages, brats, and pretzels.
They feature every Dodgers game on their indoor and outdoor TVs as well as a huge projector. There is also plenty of fun games here as well with pool tables, shuffleboards, and a giant Connect Four. Family owned and operated since 1983, The Gold Room has food and drink specials daily along with some of the finest spirits sure to bring out your true blue spirit during a game.

If you can’t make it before, during, or after a game, you can still visit owner Chris at The Gold Room any time from 12 PM to 2 AM daily where the peanuts are free all day!

The Douglas is located at 1400 Sunset Blvd in the Echo Park district of Los Angeles and is known for its good beer and cheap friends. Trust us… it says it right on the menu (check out their Instagram)! Food and beer is the focus here, it’s a great spot to stop before and after games to try and save on the crazy prices you’ll find at Dodger Stadium these days.
Check out the daily specials 7 days a week including the “$4 draft.” The Douglas is a great little neighborhood hot spot that you’re sure to have a good time at with friends.

Mohawk Bend

Located in a 100-year-old silent movie theater, Mohawk Bend prides itself on using California ingredients for all of its delicious food and desserts. The bar at Mohawk Bend is most impressive, featuring 76 taps of California craft beer, wine, and artisanal spirits. Here you’ll be sure to try something new with Mohawk Bend’s emphasis on showcasing local small-scale breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Mohawk Bend is on the trendier/hipper side, with a chill and friendly vibe where Dodgers fans can relax here and watch your boys in blue for hours and enjoy a nice craft beer, glass of wine, or cocktail.

With a friendly and attentive staff, plenty of TV screens, and a giant projector, Greyhound Bar and Grill is one of the most trusted and comfortable places to take in some Dodger Baseball.

LA-ces is a fun and lively sneaker-themed sports bar in the heart of Korea town. With some of the most diverse and scrumptious bar food options in town, here you can feast on popular menu items like burgers, wings, chicken poppers, pizza rolls, nachos, and tacos. There is a full bar with tons of your favorite tasty beers on tap and a great selection of local brews too. My biggest pet peeve when it comes to bars is not enough TV screens and you most definitely won’t have that problem at Laces as they have a total of eighteen screens hanging all throughout the bar, so you won’t miss a minute of Dodger baseball.
3rd Base LA

Located in the heart of Hollywood, 3rd Base LA is not just a hot spot but one of the hippest, dining and sports lounge experiences in LA. The interior has a laidback lounge feel to it with sleek modern designs and a really cool trophy case with surrounding plush couches to sit and watch the game. Every Hollywood hot spot has to have a VIP section, and 3rd base is no different. If you head to the back of the bar you’ll notice a retractable door that leads to a VIP room that will make you feel like you’re at the ballpark with its stadium seating and ivy-covered brick walls. They have a huge drink selection with a full bar that is highlighted by their margarita tree. Foodwise third base has something for everyone. From Classic burgers to Philly cheesesteak sliders, Lobster Pizza to my favorite the 3rd Base Nachos where each chip is covered with spicy queso. The high point of the 3rd base experience has to be the DJs, who keep the party going on night long on the ones and twos. With its fine craft beers, well-made cocktails, tasty food options, and energizing music you’ll have so much fun at 3rd Base, you’ll never want to come home.
Button Mash

If you’re looking to watch the game and play some classic arcade games, Button Mash is the perfect bar for you. As one of LA’s premier arcade bars, you’ll feel like a kid again playing your favorite classic arcade games along with other arcade favorites like Air Hockey, Pinball, Skeeball, and Pop Shot. Button Mash offers a wide assortment of craft beers and natural wines. Foodwise, since reopening they’ve teamed up with the legendary Tijuana-style taqueria Tacos 1986.
