Honorable Mentions

Before getting into the full list of players, McKain gave nods to Chris Taylor and James Outman, both of whom featured for the team in the early parts of the season. The Dodgers designated Taylor — who had spent the previous nine seasons in LA — for assignment in May and traded Outman to the Minnesota Twins at the trade deadline.

Julian Fernandez

Before making a single appearance with the Dodgers in 2025, Julian Fernández had just six MLB appearances to his name — all of which came with the Colorado Rockies in 2021.

Fernandez signed a minor league deal before the start of the season and got his chance in July. He pitched two innings in his relief appearance, allowing two runs. The Dodgers sent Fernandez back down afterwards, and designated him for assignment just a month later.

Andrew Heaney

Andrew Heaney joined the Dodgers for the third time in his career in 2025, as they signed him to minor league deal following his release from the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The veteran made a singular appearance for LA in 2025, allowing three runs through a two-inning outing. Heaney retired following the end of the postseason.

Eddie Rosario

Eddie Rosario terrorized the Dodgers in the 2021 NLCS, batting .560 with three homers and nine RBIs on his way to winning the NLCS MVP, but made his way to LA before the beginning of the 2025 season.

He played just two games for the Dodgers before they designated him for assignment, leading him back to the Braves organization.

Chuckie Robinson

Chuckie Robinson began the 2025 season with the Los Angeles Angels, but moved to the Dodgers when they claimed him off waivers at the end of May. He made a single appearance for the Dodgers during the regular season, spending time with the team while both Will Smith and Dalton Rushing were on the injured list.

Robinson is once again with the Dodgers, having signed a minor league deal with the team Dec. 24, 2025, and will look to make an impact as the Dodgers look for a three-peat next season.

Buddy Kennedy

The Dodgers claimed Buddy Kennedy off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays in August during Max Muncy’s first stint on the injured list in 2025. The utility infielder took over for seven games during the dog days, slashing .059/.111/.059 in 17 at-bats for the club before he elected free agency at the end of the month.
