5 Upcoming Dates Dodgers Fans Need to Know

With MLB Opening Day just 70 days away, Dodger fans have plenty of things to be excited for heading into the new season.

Before then, though, plenty of events revolving around the Dodgers and the city of Los Angeles will take place.

Here’s a look at five dates for Dodger fans to pay attention to in the near future.

Mookie Betts Meet-Up in Canoga Park: January 15

Dodgers All-Star shortstop Mookie Betts is the co-founder of Tequila Providencia, which he launched with entrepreneur Rodd Refieha.

Betts will be at BevMo Canoga Park from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 for an in-store bottle signing. The location will carry all four of Tequila Providenia’s expressions: Blanco, Reposed, Añejo and Extra Añejo.

DodgerFest 2026: January 31

The Dodgers announced the official date for DodgerFest 2026 on Tuesday, setting the date for Jan. 31.

Presale for tickets to the events open to members Thursday at 1:00 p.m., and the general public can get admission starting Friday at 10:00 a.m.

At the event, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation will hold its annual Yard Sale with unique Dodger items, such as jerseys, t-shirts, bobbleheads and more. Additionally, fans can purchase mystery bags containing various items such as autographed baseballs, jerseys and photos.

Proceeds from the event will support “LADF’s mission to improve education, health care, homelessness prevention, and social justice for all Angelenos.”

Los Angeles Olympics 2028 Ticket Drawing: January 14

The first ticket draw registration period for the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028 opened Wednesday. This process allows fans to secure tickets to the Olympics when they go on sale in April.

Dodger Stadium will serve as a venue for baseball in the upcoming Olympics, so fans who want to attend games should get a head start as soon as possible. Fans need to act fast, as the draw ends Mar. 18.

Dodgers’ First Spring Training Game: February 21

The Dodgers open their spring training campaign against the Los Angeles Angels on Feb. 21, marking the first time the two teams will meet since the Angels swept the Dodgers in the freeway series.

While it’s just spring training, the Dodgers will surely hav a chip on their shoulder and will want to prove themselves after winning the World Series.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s Talk Show with Nike: January 24

Dodgers superstar Yoshinobu Yamamoto announced Monday he’d partnered with Nike to host an event in Tokyo called “WINNER’S MIND YOSHINOBU YAMAMOTO TALK SHOW”.

Nike’s website describes the event as an opportunity to explore Yamamoto’s life and mindset.

Even with the regular season a couple of months away, Dodger fans still have plenty to look forward to in the New Year.
