Valenzuela, 63, passed away earlier this week. In 1981, the left-hander helped lead the Dodgers to a World Series title. Valenzuela was the first pitcher to win both the Rookie of the Year and Cy Young awards in the same season.
Valenzuela will be remembered for his performance on the mound, but he is cherished for bringing the Latino fanbase to Chavez Ravine.
