The Los Angeles Dodgers collaborated with the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control at Dodger Stadium Sunday, and 42 of the 44 dogs at the event found new homes.
The Dodgers have hosted the “Home for the Holidays” event in each of the last two offseasons, and held their first-ever adoption at Dodger Stadium in July 2022.
The LA County DACC waived all pet adoption fees for the event, including spaying and neutering services, vaccines and microchipping. The first 300 attendees received vouchers for complimentary food and drink, and all guests had a complimentary photo opportunity with a Dodger Legend in centerfield.

Fans who adopted also received gifts, such as a car seat from Tavo and a Cleo&Hooman pet care bundle.
The two dogs remaining are still available for adoption, and can be found at the Agoura Animal Care Center and the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center.
Waldomar, the dog pictured above, came to the adoption event from Lancaster and was the only dog from his center to not be adopted. The four-year-old black labrador is now at Agoura Animal Care Center. The other dog from the event without a home is Calvin, a three-year-old German shepherd at the Baldwin Park Animal Center.
