Andrew Friedman Says Dodgers’ Only Mission is ‘To Reward Our Incredibly Passionate Fans’
The Los Angeles Dodgers are a well-run machine, but the organization would not be as esteemed without the support from the fanbase.

President of baseball operations Andrew Friedman said the front office doesn’t consider the critics in making decisions, but continues to prioritize Dodgers fans.
“I think I look at it from the other side,” Friedman said. “The inverse of that hopefully means that our fans are really happy.
“From our standpoint, that’s our only mission: to do everything we can to be great stewards of this organization and to reward our incredibly passionate fans.”
While many fans have pled with owners to spend money and invest in the product on the field, the Dodgers have not stopped doing so. Dodgers team president Stan Kasten gave props to the fans for contributing to the success of the Los Angeles organization.
“Other teams, markets, cities just don’t have the same kind of opportunity we do,” Kasten said. “We have an opportunity because of our market and because of the support of our fans, who enable us to continue to invest in our team.”
The Dodgers have surpassed all of the other 29 teams in the league this winter. Although the Dodgers won the World Series less than three months ago, the team was not idle. Instead, the Dodgers were the most aggressive team this winter, signing players left and right.
However, the Dodgers don’t have a secret to success, just a lethal combination in good ownership and supportive fans.
“We’re solely focused on the Dodgers and making this team as good as we possibly can,” Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes said. “Our ownership group has been incredibly supportive of continuing to put back into our fans, who have done nothing but support us and come out and see us. So we’re solely focused on ‘How do we make our team better?’ and give back to the fans who have nothing but come out to see us.”
When will other organizations start to step up? Only time will tell.
For now, the Dodgers will continue to pave the way for the rest of baseball.

Yeah, right. So they reward their fans with the most expensive payroll on the planet — then require them to pay for it with the most expensive ticket prices, $75 parking, and $15 beer. All aboit the fans. Right.
Mista Friedman, What’s up with Kirby Yates???
How about rewarding fans by lowering ticket prices and the cost of food? ?
